SF House: Lighting Design by Studio Guilherme Torres
The structure houses a slightly different design from the others, one can say weird. For the entrance of his house is not visible, only looks great garage open. Architectural symbolism brings home some comfort, antagonist – solidity, modernity, freshness, light, warmth and complement each other. Can be an antidote to the boredom of traditional houses.
SF House is located in Londrina, Brazil with an area of 600 square meters. It is a project planned for the couple and their two teenage children. It has been designed by Studio Guilherme Torres through acclivitous field is allocated to three floors. The first floor, built at street level, contains a laundry area that can not be seen because the ranges that form the garage. Above the garage is to find the living room and guest bedroom. The large wooden brise showing stairs leading to the house. On the third floor, you will find the bedroom that faces a spacious terrace. Access to the bedroom is through a long corridor, brightly lit by glass plates sealed at the ceiling and walls. Light is the main property of this project.
In this house, different environments found in the total synergies between different parts of the house. The dining room, balcony and home theater has no barriers between them and can be closed with glass doors that are allocated on the wall. On the second floor and the wall one can easily see the materials used: cement, bricks and cumaru wood. Materials used both as floor or wall coatings allow space for a new interpretation to the basic Cartesian plan. In other words, material that should be made to walk on can actually touch and vice versa.
